Introduction: Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter’s latest single “Taste”
(from her just-released sixth album “Short and Sweet”)
begins with a warning about “graphic violence”
that appears at the beginning of the video,
one might initially think it is an illusion.
This is more serious than the previous two videos.
But as strange as it may sound, the guns, mutilations,
and buckets of blood he and Jenna Ortega spilled in
a hilarious 1992 Tarantino-turned-death clip are pretty close to a manga.
During an argument over her boyfriend
During an argument over her boyfriend (played by Halloween
co-star Rohan Campbell), Ortega sets Carpenter on fire,
cuts off her arm, throws her out the window and slams
her against a glowing white fence. It’s really funny and
of course Carpenter does what he does best.
Spoiler alert: At the end, the two compare their
friend’s notes from his funeral over coffee.
