The 2024 MLB postseason field is shaping up so every team will have a perfect record in the Wild Card Series. On Wednesday, the Milwaukee Brewers and New York Yankees became the first two teams to enter the postseason.
The Brewers won the NL Central title and the Yankees were just one berth away from the postseason. On Thursday, two more teams took their place. Here are the results from the most recent postseason.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are heading to the postseason for the 12th straight season. They clinched their spot with a win over the Miami Marlins (LA 20, MIA 4) on Thursday, the day superstar Shohei Ohtani posted the first 50-50 season in MLB history.
The Dodgers have a lot of work to do to win their third straight NL West title. They currently have a place in the competition. Los Angeles can’t be worse than the third wild card team. They have a four-game lead in the NL West with nine games remaining.
The Guardians are also in position to get a first round bye against the top two teams in both leagues. Cleveland is competing with the Yankees for first place in the entire American League. Depending on recent developments, it is possible that his career as a No. 1 jockey will continue until the final weekend of the season.
