CNN— Musician Dave Grohl shared
personal news about his family.
The Foo Fighters frontman announced

that he recently became a father again,
posting on his Instagram page on
Tuesday that his new daughter was

born out of wedlock with wife Jordyn Bloom.
“I recently became the father
of a daughter out of wedlock,” Krol

l wrote. “I plan to be a loving
and supportive parent to him.”
“I love my wife and children, and

I will do everything I can to win

back their trust and earn their forgiveness,” continued
the former Nirvana band member. “As we

move forward together, we are grateful
for the opportunity to consider the
best interests of all children involved.”

A representative for Grohl did not comment on the Instagram statement.

Kroll has been married to director Bloom since 2003. They have three daughters: Violet (18), Harper (15) and Ophelia (10).

The rock and roll legend did not provide any information about the mother of his daughter’s baby in his post on Tuesday.

Grohl and Bloom have kept their relationship and personal life largely private for years, regularly appearing on the red carpet together as a family.

The pair were also recently seen together at London’s Wimbledon in July during the Foo Fighters’ European tour.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and children and I will do everything I can to win back their trust and gain their forgiveness,” he continued. “As we move forward together, we are grateful for the opportunity to consider the best interests of all children involved.”

At Glastonbury Festival in June 2023, Grohl introduced his eldest child on the Pyramid Stage before performing a song from his band’s latest album, But Here We Are.

“My favorite singer in the world,” Grohl said when Violet appeared on stage. “I wrote this song for my mother, Grandma Violet. It’s called “Show Me How.”
